All prices are educational net prices, F.O.B. Bulverde, TX. Prices are subject to change without notice. All prices are stated in U.S. dollars.

Payment for Internet orders is collected at the time of the order transaction.
Sales Tax
Tax charges are based on state and local tax laws and tax rates for the delivery address of your order. An 8.25% sales tax will be applied for all personal orders (including charges for shipping) with Texas addresses. A 7.00% sales tax will be applied for all personal orders (including charges for shipping) with New Jersey addresses. Sales tax will not apply to tax-exempt institutions.
Sales Tax Exemption
Libraries, schools, not-for-profits, and other qualified groups and individuals may place a sales tax-exempt order once we have your tax-exempt certificate on file.
When you create an account, you must enter your tax-exemption certificate number during registration. Then fax your state or federal government-issued certificate to 877.688.3226 within 72 hours for verification purposes. Be sure to include the first name, last name, and e-mail address associated with your account.
Your account will remain pending for up to 72 hours until we receive and verify your certificate. If we do not receive your documentation within 72 hours, we will activate your account as non-tax-exempt and charge the applicable sales tax to all future orders.
In most cases, you will only need to fax us your tax-exemption certificate upon registration. Once that certificate is on file, you may place tax-exempt orders with no additional steps. A certificate is only valid for items shipping to the specific state for which it was issued. If you are shipping to a different state or to multiple states, you may need to fax us additional documentation.
Individuals from the same organization must each supply a certificate the first time they place an order. That certificate number is attached to each customer's account for application to future orders.
If there is no tax-exempt number listed on your tax-exempt certificate, or if your state does not issue tax-exempt certificates, please fax your Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) instead.
Purchase Orders
Public Schools/Districts: Please fax (877.688.3226, toll-free, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day) or mail (ECS Learning Systems, Inc./Novel Units, Inc., P.O. Box 440, Bulverde, TX 78163-0440) a purchase order with an authorized signature and title or a school/district letterhead signed by authorized official and title. We cannot accept purchase orders over the telephone or Internet. If faxed, please do not re-send an order unless it is clearly marked “confirming fax order.”
Terms are net 30 days from date of invoice for U.S. public schools/districts.
Backorders
Backorders will be shipped within 30 days after initial shipment. Titles not available after 30 days time will be canceled unless you instruct otherwise. When “no back order” is specified, order is held no more than 30 business days.

Summer
If your school’s receiving department or residence will be closed during the summer months or during extended vacations, please note those dates in the order Comments field during checkout, so that we can ship your order to be delivered when the facility is open.
Federal Aid Programs
Federal Block Grants, Title 1, Title IV-B of ESEA, and most State and Federal Education Acts funds may be used to purchase materials from our product catalog.
